Patch Update:
Twinora v0.4.1
This minor update brings skills to enemies, and much-needed bugfixes to common issues that were in previous versions!
Update Notes
New Content
- Enemies have had their AI upgraded to make them use skills at certain times when usable!
- The Crab boss has been named Crustantius, and can be found at Beach Path 3F. The following adjustments have been made:
- Crustantius' HP and MP have been increased to 119 and 42, respectively.
- The Boss EXP reward has been reduced from 3x to 2.5x.
- Crustantius' default attack has been fixed.
- A save point has been added to the entrance of Beach Path 3F to help the challenge of defeating Crustantius and the other enemies on the last floor of the Beach Path dungeon.
Additional Updates
- The EXP curve was heavily adjusted to be easier at higher levels: the exponential increase was significantly lowered.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where projectiles could accidentally hit big enemies multiple times.
- Fixed an issue with hitsplats appearing underneath HP bars.
- Hitsplats also have been adjusted to a new font, with a slight shadow, and stay on-screen longer, for increased visibility.
- Significant changes have been made to the behaviour of the virtual game cursor and capturing of the cursor to improve user experience:
- The cursor state now accounts for if the cursor of your device is not being used by the game at all.
- The game cursor now properly reacts to focus events for the game window.
- The virtual game cursor no longers shows at the same time as your real device cursor, to avoid confusion.
- Fixed an issue where leveling up accidentally healed Mark and Clay twice, and printed out twice to the game console that they had leveled up.
Known Issues
- There are no graphics settings yet, so the game may lag on many devices by using the defaulted high quality settings.
- When using the Conch Shell, clicking may accidentally trigger an entire grid update.
- Spam clicking on items in your Item Inventory Window can permanently halt the grid update.
- Projectiles can miss enemies if the game is lagging.
- Sometimes, AI-controller characters may get stuck, and/or not react properly in dungeons. This sometimes occurs for only one grid update, and in other cases, occurs for many grid updates.
- When fast-moving in dungeons, the jogging animations accidentally pause and restart very quickly, instead of being continuous.
