- Item tooltips have been updated to include weapon stats for weapons and elements' icons.
- Almost all major UI has undergone a significant style revamp.
Development Updates
- The UIMenus and UIBars have been largely improved for greater consistency in handling UI windows, and bars for HP/MP/EXP (including flashing when low HP or insufficient MP).
- Created an in-game developer console to execute test commands, which will allow us much greater flexibility in testing, fixing bugs, and implementing new features for the game.
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue with hitsplat rendering. They now visually appear more consistently.
- Picking up money (0003 - Coins) now properly adds to your money instead of adding an actual item to your item inventory.
- Fixed an issue where fast-moving in dungeons would keep pausing and restarting jog animations.
- Fixed an issue where projectiles could completely miss enemies if the game lagged during their trajectory in dungoens.
- Fixed issues with the player being able to move while UI was open.
- Fixed an issue where Clay would walk through trees and characters at camp.
- Clay will now properlyturn towards the direction she is jogging in when controlled by AI at camp.
- Fixed an issue where moving the left analog stick for Xbox One controllers would accidentally trigger a grid update.
- Antialiasing is now properly applied while in dungeons.
- Fixed issues with player death when being returned back to camp at zero lives.
- Fixed issues where Clay would sometimes quickly walk to points very close to her many times in a row, when controller by AI.
- Clicking on weapons in your Item Inventory window now properly equips them based on the current character showing in the Character Equipment window (if it's open).
- Sharply improved performance at camp by using additional LOD 2s for all trees, and very ow-poly shadow proxies to cut triangle counts.
- A basic menu for Twinora game settings is now accessible via "ESC" on the keyboard. You can change your graphics and quality settings, to alleviate lag on lower- and mid-end computers.
- A cursor sensitivity setting has been added to the Twinora game settings, accessible via "ESC" on the keyboard.
- Fixed an issue where game dialogs would accidentally pop up behind other windows.
- Fixed issues with enemies getting stuck in dungeons sometimes.
- Extremely improved the performance of pathfinding for NPCs in dungeons, especially for long distances.
- Mark's skill Feather Blink has had its delay reduced, and its range increased from 3 to 4 tiles.
- Fixed an issue where Clay would get stuck random-walking instead of following Mark in dungeons, in rare cases.
- Fixed issues with animation-driven properties being locked in with incorrect default values. This would cause the game to halt in dungeons permanently.
- Your HP bar now flashes continuously while under 35% HP, and your MP bar will flash when you attempt to use a skill that you don't have enough MP to use.
