Game Update: Mark's Adventure v2.0.0

Mark's Adventure has undergone a massive update since v1.0.0 on December 25, 2018. v1.0.0's primary goal was putting together a playable game level and experience.

Behold! Mark's Adventure v2.0.0 now features a 2nd unlockable map, introduces parties with local 2-player gameplay, combat skills, and more! This is an outline of the changes made:

Game Update:        Mark's Adventure v2.0.0
February 10, 2019
Major expansion to the beginning of the game, introducing parties, local 2-player, skills, and more!

    - Addition: Created the game's Official Update Log!

    - Addition: Added the capability for 3D previews to be used in the game's UI.

    - Addition: The game now has a concept of a party. A party is a group of players and non-player characters (npcs) that are working together as allies, and receive shared EXP and buffs.

    - Addition: The Escape Menu now shows all 4 party members, using the new 3D previews in the UI.

    - Addition: Added a new sub-menu into the Escape Menu to show Mark's 3 newly added Skills.

    - Addition: Added 4 new Skills for Mark into the game data: Flash Vortex, Light Pillars, Lunar's Blessing, and Angel Dive.

    - Addition: Skill icons have been created for the first 3 Skills, Flash Vortex, Light Pillars, and Lunar's Blessing, and have been added into the Skill's section of the Escape Menu.

    - Addition: Adopted the convention for ".cxml" files to be importable into Unity. These are usable for the new SkillDatabase that will encase all of the data with every Skill in the game.

    - Change: The CharacterStatusUIs in the HUD showing their HP, MP, EXP, and Lv. has been visually revamped.

    - Change: Added a new Bubbly Numbers Font to display characters' Combat Levels in the HUD instead of displaying the number in Arial font.

    - Change: MP has been added to the game for all Mobs (players and npcs, alike) in order to use Skills.

    - Change: The scale of HP and MP has been changed from the beginning of the game. Mark now starts with 100 HP and 100 MP.

    - Addition: Added an interactable portal to a second map: Candlelit Hallway. This second map is connected with 2-way teleportation to and from the first map of the game, Knights' Corridors.

    - Addition: Ricky the Squirrel is now a playable character, who joins the party during the tutorial in Knights' Corridors. Ricky can be controlled using 2nd Player controls on the keyboard.

    - Bugfix: Fixed an issue where the party could not be saved properly into the game save data!

    - Addition: Added a new enemy into the game: Candleflames. They appear in Candlelit Hallway, and attack you with flames!

    - Addition: Added a new CombatStatusUI to show the name, level, and HP bar next to all Mobs (players and npcs) that enter combat.

    - Addition: Flash Vortex has been fully implemented and added into the game. Flash Vortex can be cast by Mark by pressing the Alpha0 key on the keyboard.

    - Addition: Lunar's Blessing now buffs all party members within range, increasing Max HP and Max MP. Lunar's Blessing can be cast by Mark by pressing the Alpha2 key on the keyboard.

    - Addition: Buffs have been added and implemented into the game! A buff represents a temporary effect on a Mob that may help or hinder them in combat.

    - Bugfix: All mobs can now be saved into the game save data properly, even when they have active buffs applied.

Refer to the table on the main page for the newly added controls. The game will eventually teach and show the player what the controls are, but one step at a time! :) Enjoy the update!
